Design of Automobile Air-conditioner Controller based Adaptive Fuzzy Controlling for Passenger Cars

Abstract

This paper present the design and development of an automatic air-conditioner controller for the multitudinous of passenger cars based on adaptive fuzzy logic, with which could fulfilled the increasing demand of people for the interior environment quality indexes of the passenger cars, such as, temperature& humidity of atmosphere, velocity& direction of the air-flow and the cleanliness, etc. This paper is focusing on the MSI microcontroller (PIC), and the design theory of hardware, principle of software programing, fundamental of fuzzy control and relevant algorithm are discussed respectively. The experimental based evaluation show that this controller performance well and improve the riding comfort tremendously. Hence, with the application of adaptive fuzzy logic, the air-conditional controller could better meet the requirement of people for interior atmosphere quality.
